About

Sara has made pots since 1985 and professionally since 1991. She is now located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania working out of a studio in her home and participating in local art events and organizations. Her work is mostly functional… mugs, bowls, pitchers, casseroles, and vases. She usually has something else going on in the studio. In 2012, Sara has introduced hand-built slab vessels to her body of work. Check out her gallery, Unique Slab Vessels to see what’s new.

“I see the shelves in my studio fill up with pots knowing that soon someone will enjoy these pieces, someone who shares my ideas about the importance of using a beautiful pot for even the most mundane activities such as morning coffee.”

Good evening Sara… I was wondering if you offer pottery classes or know anyone in the Bloomsburg area that does? Thanks for your help!

    Best,

      Hi Zane–
Thanks for your comment. No I do not teach pottery anymore but I think there is a community center in Sunbury that does. Good Luck !

Hi there. Thank you for your interest. Where have you found my work before? A four-piece place setting is $95 and includes dinner plate, lunch plate, salad bowl, and mug or tumbler. My terms are half due upon order, and second half due on delivery. The first half is non-refundable. At this point, my production schedule would allow me to have finished the dinnerware by November 1st. Hope to hear from you; Sincerely, Sara.
